GTO guy.
Good eye on the 66 Pontiac. I love that Barrier blue and in different light you really see the lavender. I saw a GTO in Barrier Blue and had to have that color, you rarely see it....that was easy but the vette has been a lot harder to find that must have color. I also really like the blue/violet that was painted on the 63 kindig-it designs did. I was just hoping for a color a little off from my already blue cars. Every time I read a post I say ok that makes sense, then I read the next post and it changes my mind. LOL I can literally agree with almost every post. That is not good when making a decision. In the end I love the comments, and I even have my wife thinking she would like green. Two weeks ago she said she wouldn't drive in a green car. hahaha I really don't think I can go wrong with whatever color I pick--blue or green with tan interior and a white strip on the stinger hood. I can say the 67 green corvette in the picture above, the super sonic blue retromod, and the daytona blue picture just look so "classy" They really stand out. Well I have one week to make a decision.

I painted my 67 mustang fastback LRG to match my c7. the car looks so awesome its almost indescribable. People have been going bananas over the color. It is just a very deep, very complex color that really highlights a car's beautiful lines.

It seems to me this should be an easy question. Regardless of liking or not liking an after-market color, Happy Wife Happy Life. The original color of your car is extremely nice and a concession which makes your wife feel a winner may be in your best interest. The idea of riding alone doesn’t seem as that wonderful of an idea.

Here is the LRG in the sun on the mustang.
there are 6 shades of LRG. We think the C7 is LRG-A
For the mustang - we went with LRG-F (slightly darker)

That is an absolutely killer color on that Mustang. As sharp and clean as black, but more complex. And you lose none of the 'shock value' of a well-done dark paint job. I love it. It's like a slightly darker version of Glen Green.
