While I'm not sure... yes Paragon is the supplier of the covers without the flaw.... However, I believe they are just working out the casting mark in the O... While I have my original covers on my 62 without the flaw, I do have a set of the Paragon covers without the flaw on clearance on eBay.. https://www.ebay.com/itm/132959399571
i've not opened their boxes and I've not compared them to my original covers but I've also not had any complaints registered in our system on this part number.

IIRC I sold two sets of no flaw late-59 to early-66 aluminum covers for $125/pair 5-6 years ago when I sold the 61...
You would still run across them at swap meets occasionally back then, this year at Lakeland I don't recall seeing any...

* GM had only one mold for the later-style aluminum valve cover
* In mid-1966, that mold developed a crack that created a flaw line through the "O"
* Paragon purchased the GM mold and uses it to make all of their reproduction valve covers of the late style
* To create a no-flaw valve cover, Paragon carefully machines the flaw line away
I've seen examples of the re-worked covers and they look pretty good, at least to a casual observer. I suppose that in NCRS judging, the judges look very closely and can probably detect that the valve cover originally had the flaw.

My understanding about the flaw/no-flaw issue and the reproduction situation is this:
* GM had only one mold for the later-style aluminum valve cover
* In mid-1966, that mold developed a crack that created a flaw line through the "O"
* Paragon purchased the GM mold and uses it to make all of their reproduction valve covers of the late style
* To create a no-flaw valve cover, Paragon carefully machines the flaw line away
