Opinions Please
Pulled a 327 down the other day to get ready for a rebuild. Looking over the heads I have noticed a few head bolt holes that show some slight damage. I see quite a bit of this typical damage to the holes on other heads, just wondering if this is something serious enough to be concerned with. I will have the heads magged if I decide to use them.
Thanks for your opinions.

I would buy some flat, thin, steel AN washers and install them under the head bolts and forget about it..

I agree with Mike. Hard washers under the bolt heads. I would get a set of ARP head bolts for aluminum heads. They come with hardened washers and grease to put between the bolt head and washer for torquing.
