Default Resto-mod electrical question

For those of you who have gone with an LS motor in your C2 I was wondering where you located the pcm and small relay box for the motor and who you used to make the harness for you?
Thanks guys.

I use a harness from psiconversion. I put the computer up in the cavity where the wiper motor is one time (smoothed the firewall), then mounted it along side the pedal assembly another with the fuse box under it above the gas pedal.
My current build has it mounted to the z cross bar behind the headlight switch and the fuse box in front of it mounted to the firewall facing down.

I completed my one and only conversion last fall. I used the matching GM performance ECM and fuse box....If I was to do it again, I'd use what Ken suggests....I believe they can tailor the harness better to make the wiring cleaner. Especially using the fabric/woven like sheathing over the wires. I mounted the ECM under the passenger fender, on the firewall, in the engine compartment and the associated fuse box under the driver's fender, on the firewall, in the engine compartment.

I planned on mounting the ECM on the back side of the Dr fenderwheel.

I have done both, inside the car behind the center console. And outside on the drivers side firewall up high alongside the fender. My next will be outside, easy access. With A/C, hidden radio and some additional components, alarm and or push to start under the dash gets really tight.....

Not to mention if its a automatic you have an additional ECM.

We use the stock GM Connect and Cruise ECM supplied the the GM kit...

Enjoy the ride....

I'm running an LS6 (larger PCM) and have it mounted on the drivers side inner fender panel, mounted up high to keep it out of sight. From a certain angle you could see the lower corner of the PCM through the forward most gill (on a '65) so I just painted the PCM flat black and it's barely noticeable.
I also used a Speartech harness and have nothing but good things to say about their product and customer technical support.
Good luck with the project,
Rick
