If you read the comments, they suggest that the reserve is likely in the $140K to $180K range. They also suggest that the engine is a restoration engine (which is not disputed by Corvette Mike even though other things are disputed). That might be the reason for the "lower" price, even though the car was (given the documentation) an original red 435HP 67, the original engine probably would have vaulted the price to well over $250K.
