Default CRC Corvette 1958 Retro Vette

I've had my CRC ( Classic Reflections Coachworks ) Retro Vette 1958 Carbon Fiber body on a 2002 C5 Corvette for
one year now and I still love it.

I've seen comments before about these cars but let me tell you - It looks like a 1958 but has all of the modern
conveniences of a C5 Corvette and more.

I even visited the factory/shop where they build these cars in Tacoma Washington and I was very impressed.
This is a world class operation and the people there are terrific.

No disrespect here but I have always wondered when you tell someone you own a vette and they ask what year? How do answer that? I like the colors.

The mirrors don't help either.

Other wise it's a really nice conversion.
To the O/P there's a lot to like about it.
It's great to hear you're a happy owner.

Other than the windshield, I like it. I could get used to that too while cruising the land in modern mechanicals and comforts, which would be impossible for me in a real C1.

Good question - I usually respond its a 1958 Carbon Fiber Corvette body on a 2002 Corvette - and I know the person asking is a novice when they
respond " It's in great condition for a 1958 " ??? LOL

Anyone who knows cars realizes right away something is off - and then they realize it is a custom car.

I've had may classic cars and they are a lot of fun - the issue is if you want to go on a long drive there is nothing like the
ride comforts and handling of a modern day car. When you see this car up close you get over the windshield.
The fit and finish is show quality. The 3 stage pearl paint rivals any factory paint.

If you want to see what goes into these cars go to www.crcoachworks.com

Titled as a 2002 Chevy Corvette. Everything on the 2002 Corvette remains, engine , 6 speed trans, suspension, interior upgraded red leather and upgraded stereo Pioneer with navigation, blue tooth, backup camera - the wheels are made by EVOD industries - they are aluminum one off replicas of the 1958 hubcaps - note the whitewalls are part of the wheel not the tire.

The purists and semi purists on this site are great about telling people how they should spend and enjoy "their" own money. If you are happy with it that is all that matters. The same and many more have and would comment they don't like mine or any restomod. LS engines are bad, automatics are bad, your wheels are ugly, you don't need power steering it's part of the driving experience of old cars, you shouldn't do this you should do that. That company does have great manufacturing capabilities. I hope you enjoy it a long time.
