Default 1965 365 h.p. pulley arrangement

My 1965 300 h.p. engine with PS has a 3 groove crank pulley (I think it is a 2 groove with and 1 groove add on pulley) and a two groovy WP pulley.

I plan to convert this engine to a 365 h.p. and am looking for a pulley arrangement that will work on my car and KEEPING the PS.

I am not sure which pulleys were deep groove from the factory? I believe the WP and alternator had them but don’t know about the crank and the PS pulleys?

What do I need and where are they available? If they are a problem to find what about aftermarket like March or some other manufacturer?

Also, did the 1965 327/350 use deep groove pulleys?

Use everything for a L79 as that was available with PS and it used deep grove pulleys

I am confused? Corvette Central shows a WP pulley with PS for 350 h.p. as a single groove pulley?

I saw a diagram for all of the small block pulley arrangements here on the forum once but can't find it now.

Did the 1965 350 h.p. engine use a idler pulley?

I am pretty sure the 350HP L79 did use an idler pulley.

I’m pretty sure the L79 did not use an idler pulley.

emdollar,
Thanks for the chart. Do you have the same for 1965?

I wonder if 1965 is the same as 1966? Really doesn't matter as I would use either 65 or 66 parts to do this conversion.

EDIT:
After studying the chart a little close there are SOME differences from 65--66 as it shows for the 300 h.p. with PS uses a single groove WP pulley and my original pulley is a double groove. It is odd that on my car with the 300 h.p. pulleys the crank is three groove (back groove not used) and the WP is two groove (again, back groove not used) the forward groove drives the alternator. The forward (3rd groove) crank pulley drives the PS. All of these extra grooves could have been eliminated if the alternator and PS pump would have been located closer to the front of the engine and I assume that is what took place in 1966 and the pulley arrangement changed. So I am now thinking that if I were to use 1966 pulleys I MAY have an alignment problem with the P and alternator??? I don't know if the PS and alternator bracket is shimmed out or if they are different brackets from 1966? I know I am referencing 300 h.p. items here but just trying to make sense of all of this and not sure how the 300 h.p. configuration effects the 350 h.p. configuration? I see that both the 300 and 350 configurations use the add on pulley #3751232 on the crank which makes the 350 a double groove and the 300 a triple groove. The 350 uses a CAST pulley on the PS so maybe that adjust the belt placement compared to the 300? So many questions to solve to get correct belt alignment for this conversion. I know the answers are out there as a PS equipped 350 h.p. was available from the factory.

I am having trouble making any sense out of what the different vendor that show pulleys as to what is correct for what they offer. I guess the best thing will be to call a few of them and try to cross reference this chart unless you have one for 1965.

Unfortunately I only have the one I posted. Do you have the AIM for your car? Should be in there.

No, I don't. I see so many people complaining about the photo copied ones they get that are un-readable for much of it I have never ordered one. Guess it is time to do so.
