Ultimate Headers can probably make you up some AND they will fit your chassis. That is the route that I was going to go until I bought my crate LS7 that came with 2014- up Z28 Tri-Y hydroformed stainless shorty headers. They appear to be 1 3/4". I removed the shield mounts and smooth them out a little and then had them ceramic-coated and they look great.
That might be something for you to consider as well.
I keep thinking the headers have to fit a C1 when in reality they have to fit a C4. Thanks for the responses and pics Wolfman. I should have tons of clearance.
Joe how's everything going in NJ? You keeping your head down?

Crazy here in NJ, but plenty of time to work on the car. Thx for asking.
Here are the LS7 Z28 Tri-Y OEM shorties. The primaries are 1 3/4". I haven't hooked up an exhaust system yet but I had this engine and end these headers in the car and there is plenty of room to make a gradual turn toward the back with ground clearance in the Corvette Correction chassis.
Just passing though... https://www.speed-engineering.com/ls...c10-truck.html
You may need different spark plug wires. I used Taylor Ceramic boot ones just to be on the safe side since they are real close to the header.
I found the thread after I posted so I deleted my question. I'm going to need different wires for sure I'm going to relocate the coils. For the price of these I just can't see building my own. Thanks
The headers hug the block so running the spark plug wires can be tedious to avoid them getting burnt. I used some heat wrap on some of the wires.
On my C6, when I put headers on I used Granatelli fully-socked spark plug wires. They look clean, but cost as much as, or more than your block huggers.
