You have to exercise the horses. Drive it.

If you drove it 2,000 miles a year, which is actually driving it quite often for a pleasure car, in 10 years it would have 44,000 miles. How much less is that worth, than if it only had 44,000 miles. That answer is it would not be worth any less, so enjoy your car and put some miles on it!!

Over the years things happen. My speedometer cable broke. Several weeks later it was replaced so "low mileage" was no longer accurate. It recently has sat for a lot of years but is under restoration now. The guage cluster has been restored and the odometer was set AHEAD to 00000. There are more important things to a low miles car then the odometer, as simple as clutch and brake pedal wear. On my car I just found a few chalk marks on the frame, the green tags on the front springs, etc. There are other important signs of a low miles cars. Drive and maintain it. Save the wave.

Looks damn clean and inviting. Would you even be capable of denying yourself?

I can only relate to drive your Vette and enjoy it since that is exactly what I have done since day one. My wife and I just returned from the Sioux Falls Corvette color run to Spearfish, SD. Total miles was 2,300. Every where we went people would stop and visit about our ride, share their stories, and we did to. Any time not behind the wheel of the Vette is a day without fun.

Safe travels and health to all,
Steve Stone (original owner, '63 triple black convertible, 589,000 miles)
