Default C1 Caster?
Trying with great difficulty aligning the front end of our '62. It seems that most parts outlets are "out of stock" of the '62 Frame Front Cross-member Shim. We may be making our own, are there any blueprints/specs of the front end aluminum shims? Thanks, Dan

61 C-1

Most of the big suppliers ( corvette central, zip sell them. Never seen any prints but then I never looked.

Search for: 56-62 C1 Corvette Alum Front Suspension Shim Plate--GM #3736477--Exact Repro!

And a used pair for $150;GM Original C1 Corvette Ft Frame Crossmember Shims 3733477 56 57 58 59 60 61 62

What is your time frame? I'm quite sure I have a pair of new (repro) shims, but I won't be getting back to the car for ~6 weeks.

I put in two shims on each side to help get some castor. This is tough, I worked a couple days to get 3 degrees. Had to "clearance" some parts.
