Help fixing wipers?
The wipers on my new '66 do nothing when I turn the switch. I know they worked last June because the car passed a Massachusettes safety inspection then. Between then and now I know the engine was pulled and rebuilt, and I know the car was driven less than 1K miles. The dash is obviously a replacement/resto piece, so I've assumed the switch is reasonably fresh. Any suggestions on where I should start to diagnose the problem?

The easiest thing to check first is the electrical connector at the wiper motor and that the wiper motor ground strap is in place. It's possible either came loose during the engine work. If those connections looks ok, then check the connector on the back of the wiper switch. If it looks ok and there is still a problem, there is a Checking Procedure in my 1963 Shop Manual that tells how to check the electrical circuits. Let me know what you find.
