I have seen L-89 TPI engines in Midyears with the stock SB hood, but never one with a huffer on it..... Good Luck...... :smash: :cheers:

What about the fellows with blowers on their C4's? Could you take a few measurements or pictures?

I have factory a/c, so I want to mount the blower on the drivers side.

I've got a TPI on my 67 327 with a BB hood..... Using the lump of clay method I show 3 1/4" vertical clearance.. :D

My L 98 TPI required a little relief in the center cross brace of the SB hood.

I saw a Vortech mounted on a '65 fuelie and he retained stock hood (and power steering) so a cent. S/C can fit. The '65 looked like a period correct factory set-up except for the machined brackets/braces that held the blower. Blew the air right into the fuelie unit. Extremely cool! :cool:
