Piston p/n L2166N
Does any one know if this is the GM part number for a 63 327? When I pulled the heads yesterday this is the number stamped into the top of the pistons along with STD. So today Mr. Batchelor came over to mic the cylinders and they are std bore along with little wear. I'm just wondering if anyone has been in this engine before. If the p/n is not a GM p/n does anyone have any idea who the manufacture is?? Thanks... Dave...

Wally thanks. Well I guess they just rebuilt it but didn't have to bore it at the time they rebuilt it last. It will be interesting to see what else has been done or not done.. Dave..
