190 would not damage anything at all. 260 would be a problem.

Definitely not an overheating issue. It stayed around 185-190 F with the Aces water temp sensor. The dash gauge was inop at that time. Now it is replaced and functioning. When I'm back stateside, it'll be trailered to builder. I hope no one scratches my paint!!!

Back home. Car goes in on Monday. So i decided to replace the rear carpeting now. I placed it so it can relax a bit before I install it tomorrow

I got rear carpeting set in and pressed down with metal. Ran out of sticky spray for the both top 2 side pieces. I'll get them stuck when it's back. You realize how crappy the old carpet until you remove it and see it light. How does it get that grimie?

How does Racedeck work when you have an oil spill or gas leak??? I assume it will let fluids drip through it??

It drains though it, but it is still a mess when you have an unexpected oil spill. My floor has been oil free for several years, until the 327 puked some oil out. PIA. All my other vehicles have never leaked. I'll drag the racedeck out again and clean the floor while the car is gone. In the future I'll put oilsoak mat down to keep everything clean.

Hi Rick!
So far, leaky valve gasket, leaky spin on filter assembly and the worst is fuel washed cylinder(s). They are either going to get them to reseal (since it was not run too long) or pull engine and fix it. They will also try to get the Aces tuned for me. Was dumping too much gasoline.

Either way, it'll be good soon.

Car is back. Oil leaks fixed. The builder got the Aces to start behaving, and I changed a setting or two myself. i may still need to modify it a bit more, like to flood out at times. Drove it like I stole it for about 25 miles, without my ohone or wallet!. This thing is fast and fun. She smoked a little on the drivers bank, so I'm trying my luck to reseat the rings. If not, I'll pull it this fall and get it fixed. Next up is installing a 100 amp alternator and adjusting the front alignment. Then rear suspension work.

Placed her on the 4 poster, adjusted parking brakes and a quick front end toe in alignment. Hood setting tomorrow!

The 392 is out of upperdeck dusty storage, ready for the mountain trails.

I have one of those in the Gladiator body style.
