That looks really great. I skipped this thread for awhile as I thought it had something to do with a Batmobile. My error. Gonna be a great looking car.

Just for fun I hit up the Goggleator and damned if this did not pop up.........
Thank goodness Factoid is on a better path..........
HA! Mark your Bat Man car is much better looking as is. There is a reason the TV Corvette was rejected for the show! It is ugly. Your car is turning into a very nice ride. The new headlights are a huge improvement along with your stripes. Keep up the good work. Avoid the rear wing thoughts, please.
Since we know the process, let’s skip to results. Even after a good clay bar rub down there is still dirt in and under the paint. The wrap tends to highlight all these little imperfections. So, she’s imperfect but I still love her!
Finished the hood. And this little piece. I also drilled out the 1/8 npt boss in the intake and tapped it for 1/2 npt which allowed me to move the heater supply hose to the top of the manifold. The new fuel filter is blocking the old boss which is now plugged. I thought about not doing this little piece, but I’m glad I did as it makes it look more finished. I didn’t really care for this hood when I bought the car. I much prefer the 65/66 bbc hood, but the stripe makes it much more appealing. Sunday I’ll do the roof and then pull it out into the sun for some better pictures.
Mark it's a different car now. Lots of progress in a relatively short time rewarded with great results. Well done.
I envy your energy or your ability to hide you're possibly tired.
This is unusual. I actually gave myself a deadline to get a few things done before we go back to NY for the summer. I’ll miss a couple things like the sequential blinkers, but the beauty of my own deadline is who cares if I miss it. I’m going to finish the stripe and call it quits for now. I’ll be back on Fat Boy in a couple weeks.
