This crap rained down on our house in San Antonio in May of 2019. We were in the house and it lasted about 5 minutes. My wife picked one up when we thought it was safe. It was about 10% bigger than this when it fell destroying our roof nd gutters.

That looks like it could be fatal if you got caught outside without any head protection.
My wife went up to Sisters OR to visit friends and see the major eclipse a few years ago. She called me while up there to excitedly tell me about the major Hail Storm they were in while at our friend's ranch. She is yelling into the phone giving me details. I kept yelling back to get the cars inside. She never heard me because of the loud hail. I must have yelled it 20 times before we hung up. Well our BMW X5 at the time was not injured, luck had it protected by a structure. 10 feet away our friend's new Honda Pilot was totaled by several thousand dents from the large hail. Did not break any windows which surprised me. The metal roofing on our friend's ranch home was dented and sections had to be replaced. One wall facing the storm on her home, a wood sided wall was damaged by the hail. The hail hit hard enough on the wood that it chipped off the finish / clearcoat on the cedar siding.
You don't want to mess with big hail. Not sure what it would do to fiberglass? I have seen the steel body cars damaged with baseball sized dents, would that same hit crack the fiberglass?
