First Time Body off Restorer NEED HEADS 3740997 with a build before 11/12/56

I am doing my first body off ever on my 57 Corvette. I am so knee deep it is ridiculous!!! Can someone PLEASE help me find these heads. I have been looking for months and can't find any.

My body is almost stripped and I need to send my engine off for rebuild. I don't want to send it off with the 3731539's that are on her.

Keep an eye on ebay or check the NCRS Driveline. Expect to pay a couple Grand. They are not cheap.
If your car is an early car, you will probably need a pair of 9 fin valve covers as well as an early 2x4 set-up to match the heads.

I have been checking the driveline and ebay Owen, I even had a guy look at the Portland swap meet.... but no such luck. I got 2 grand ready to go out the door the second I find a good pair.

You are also right I need the correct 2 x 4 set up, I will have to count the fins on my valve covers.
