Default 327 Engine with Roller Cam, Edelbrock heads,

Over 6,500 invested
Asking-4,200
I am pulling the replacement 327 engine out of my 65 and putting the original engine back in.

This engine only has 800 miles on it since it was professionally built by proline race engines in woodstock, georgia. The full rotating assembly was balanced correctly using mallory. I installed the cylinder heads.

-Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads with Springs to match hyraulic roller cam
-Comp Cams Retro-fit Hydraulic roller lifters
-Comp Cams hydraulic roller camshaft-12-423-8
Specs: Duration 224/230 Lift: .502/.510 Lobe Seperation 110
-Compatible gear for stock distributor
-Keith Black Hypereutectic Pistons 10.1:1 compression with the 64cc heads
-Lightweight Eagle Rods with ARP bolts
-Hardened Pushrods
-ARP Head bolts
-Crane Gold Full Roller Rockers with low profile locks-CLEARS stock Aluminum Valve Covers
-Comes with Clutch and lightweight steel flywheel

Block was bored .030 over Date is June of 65 870 block

Does not come with intake, carb, waterpump, oil pan, or timing cover. I need these items for the original block.

This is a great motor with lots of power. I have just over 6,500 invested in the engine
Asking 4,200
. Please let me know if you are interested.
It runs great and has tons of power throughout the rpm range. The motor has not been ragged out and i will guarantee that it will run great. I did some spirited driving in the car, but nothing that would jeopardize the engine. It has not seen over 6,000 rpm and has only seen 5800 about 5 times. The video below being one of them.
I'm just putting my car back to stock

Pics of engine before cylinder heads were installed

Light acceleration and then cruising at about 45mph

Hard acceleration 1st to 4th

Video of engine being turned on and off multiple times. I have never had an older car start like this-it must be the roller camshaft. it even starts this quickly when cold.

Thanks! Want to buy it?

Unfortunately some bubbles have come up on the left fender, car was painted about 2 years ago, and it needs a new top. Hopefully somebody will want the engine and it will fund the repairs.
