Default 66 427 Complete Motor For sale (3869942)

Offered for sale is a complete running motor that is in my 1967 Corvette. The motor is a 427 Block, Casting Number is 3869942, Casting Date, L305, which I believe is December 30, 1965. The block is correct for a 1966 Corvette. The motor is complete and running currently in my corvette. It can be driven and evaluated prior to purchase. The motor is not correct for my car and I have an original 351 block being built currently and will be ready in the next few months. The motor will be sold complete from oil pan to intake manifold. The only parts not for sale are the valve covers, carburetor and bellhousing. The motor runs strong with no smoking, oil burning or leaks. I have no knowledge as to when it was built or mileage, but it looks to have been rebuilt recently, as everything is extremely clean. You be the judge? Asking $5900.00. No surprises or issues. If you need the casting numbers on the heads I will provide them along with pictures to serious buyers. Please no trade offers or part swapping. I have no need for the motor once mine is ready. Call Chuck at 240-508-0910 or email me at Teamsmith@comcast.net. Thanks!

Please see my ebay ad for pictures. Item #260824342683. Email me if you need additional pictures or information. Thanks. Chuck

What is the Vin# on the front pad and the code on the pad? Is it a Corvette block or Passenger Block? Heads and intake dated the same as the block? Thanks

The motor is for sale on ebay, Item #260824342683. You can see pictures of everything there. The engine stamp pad is blank. This is a corvette block, although the same block was used in chevelles. The heads are dated for a late 67 corvette BB and the intake is dated for a early 67 corvette BB. The value is in the block. There is obviously value in the heads and intake to someone who needs those particular items. You would have to get the correct dated heads and intake to match the block and for your car. The motor runs very strong with no issues. Thanks for your interest.

Yep. No problem. Keep in mind that the 2 bolts can be converted to 4 bolts, but not the other way around. Thanks for your interest! Chuck
