327 Hi-Perf Chevy Engine
SOLD
I thought I would sign up here and put this up for sale in a market it belongs in . This is my first post and I do not have a Corvette . I am just trying to maybe help a C2 Corvette owner out and of course sell my Engine . Thanks .
Rebuilt 327 with under 1500 miles on it . I am going with a Flathead in my Roadster .Block is a 65 Chevelle 300hp 327 #FO313EC. Same block as a 365hp 327 ,just a different # on the front .The numbers are still on the front of the block so it has never been decked and it was checked for square and it was perfect .It is at .030" with a nice bore . New ARP main bolts then the line hone was checked and it was perfect .It was magged then hot tanked and cleaned . All good .
Crank is a steel 327 crank at standard rod's and main's. She polished up perfect at std .
Rods are Pink 327 rods with highly polished beams . It's a shame nobody see's them .They were re-sized and had new rod bolts installed.
Pistons are TRW factory GM replacement pistons @ 11 to 1 comp .They have a slight dome.New seal power rings gapped and installed .
Heads are the 3782461 casting 1.94 /1.6 camel hump heads .They were hot tanked ,magged and cleaned . New hardened seats installed. New valve job with all NEW valves , springs ,retainers ,keepers ,stamped rocker arms and push rods .
Cam is a new comp cams Hydraulic .483 lift and 239 duration @.050" .This is a copy of the 30/30 cam but in Hydraulic.
New lifters with the slot for better oiling .
New ARP head bolts and Fel Pro head gaskets
New timing chain/gear set
New Melling Hi Volume oil pump and pick up
New King rod/main/cam bearings
All balanced and blueprinted and professionally assembled .
I would like to get $1700 for everything listed above so a basic long block .I have double that in it and it is in the car running so it can be test driven. We used Joe Gibbs break in oil and broke the cam in correctly .I have changed the oil 2 times since then because I am **** . The engine runs great and has a nice rumble out the exhaust . It's fun to drive .
Other parts that can be bought WITH the long block are :
*1965 Corvette 365hp /327 6qt oil pan = $150.00
*1965 Corvette 365hp/327 8" harmonic balancer with the cooling fins (Rare) $400.00 Very nice shape w/good rubber and no hammer marks .
*1965 Corvette 365hp/327 Aluminum 4bbl intake #3844461 . nice $350.00
*Edelbrock aluminum intake currently on engine $100.00 Was new when installed .
*Holley 670cfm Street Avenger carb .$200.00 was new when installed .
Parts I am keeping are Clutch/pressure plate/Flywheel - Exhaust manifolds - raised water pump assembly/fan/pulleys - Alternator - Air cleaner -Dist/wires/coil - valve covers - starter
For the complete running engine minus the parts I am keeping I would take $2700.00 and throw in the correct water pump w/the water bypass for the Corvette manifold and the Edelbrock fuel pump .So you would get the complete engine with both intake manifolds minus all parts listed above that I am keeping . I also have a set of 2 1/2" Exhaust manifolds that may be correct for a C2 Corvette .
Engine is sold .
Make offers , ask questions ,let me know .
Thanks , Mike 707 217 8751
