FS 1961-1962 Hardtop, excellent
This hardtop is out of a basement in which it has been since 1974. The stainless inside and out is excellent. The headliner is clean and has no issues--no sagging, holes, etc. Original short arm latches are on the front and are in good condition. As the pictures show, there are no splits in the weatherstripping as there usually are--all weatherstripping is excellent.
The side brackets by the doors are missing on both sides--they are reproduced and are undetectable when installed. These were removed because this top was put on a '58 back in 1969. Windows are in good shape and not crazed. They are dated 5-61 and 6-61. You'll have to look hard for an unrestored top that is in as good a condition as this is. Paint it, and put it on your really nice car! I'd prefer not to ship, because the top is nice, but will ship and have packaged at buyer's expense.
I'm about an hour and 15 minutes north of Chicago's O'Hare. $2850 obo
