Hi, I was curious if you ever found an alternator? I am also in need of a 1100697 for a June build. They seem to be extinct.

I actually did find one after years of on-again, off-again searching. Bought it about 10 months ago from a guy in Indiana who also had a 1965 Coupe with an L-76 engine and factory AC. Also bought a teak wheel from him. The alternator needs to be refurbished, but I haven't figured out where to do that yet. Or how to pay to have it done! Good luck with your search.

There is an excellent shop in Kansas City that rebuilds alternators, starters and generators. The shop is Allen Armature & Electric, 10 South 18th St, Kansas City, KS 66102. 913-371-9999.

Default Air Cond Alternator

You should clarify your post that your vet has TI ignition(K66)&A/C

otherwise a 55amp 694 is required, which I have an April 15 of 65 for A/c only.
