Default 1957 defroster box

Hi, I am still looking for a 1957 corvette defroster box. Does anyone have one for sale that is in good shape. Pressboard reproduction one are available for $240.00. I would like to find a metal reproduction or one in good shape.
Thanks,
Pat

Don't know if anyone is still making the metal boxes. I got one back in the 70's from TCM parts (Terry Michaelis) when he was doing repro parts. Much better than the pressboard for durability.

This one is for sale:
Must be an old repro:

Personally, I would go ahead and put the correct pressboard version on your car. Given the way these cars are treated today and generally kept inside and driven in nice weather, the original style will probably last long enough to out live the current owners.

Thanks, that sounds like good advice.
