The material is called polypropylene.

I bought one. Fits about like the C1 picture shows. I don't think it would scratch paint but I lay a blanket over hood and trunk before I install. Good cover for the money.

I need one for my 56 Belair.....whaddaya got? how much? Isn't polypropylene what cheap throw tarps are made from?.....are they lined with some other fabric?
