Running engine removed from 1964 Corvette (video or engine running available)
No longer for sale. I am going to take everyone's suggestion and either part this engine out or just keep it. I have for sale a running motor that I removed over the winter from my 1964 Corvette in order to install a new GM crate engine and 5 speed transmission. The block is a 300hp nom corvette block, two bolt mains. It runs excellent, does not smoke or use oil, has good compression, and a nice lopey hydraulic cam. The value of this sale is in the components and not the block.
It is believed that the original 365hp components original to the car were bolted onto this block when the original engine failed. Included with this engine is a 461 Winters intake, camel hump heads with non oem roller rockers, trap door oil pan, 8 rib balancer, and correct thermostat housing. Also is a near new flowkooler water pump and an newer fuel pump.
The engine build stamp of F0110SB means it was built in Flint on January 10, which matches the casting date, but SB is a non-Corvette engine code, and is consistent with a 300HP with 4bbl and for a power glide tranny.
The heads are 461 heads, consistent for a Corvette, and were cast on July 2 and July 17, 1963. The roller rockers are aftermarket, and the valve covers, with the casting crack in the O are later than 1963.
I am asking $1800 obo for everything as I would rather sell as a complete running engine. I am located near Pittsburgh, Pa and I do have a pallet for it if we need to ship.
If I cannot sell this engine complete, then I will part it out at a later date.

That's a good-looking engine, Rick.

In other news, I'm in Tokyo, headed back to the states. I'll PM you about the other stuff when I have decent email access back at home.

That's what I mentioned to Rick (the OP).
IF he elects to part it out it should bring more than the asking price, but is more trouble. Alternately, somebody could buy it either to part it out and pocket the difference, or use it to acquire needed parts for their own build, then sell off the remaining parts.
I'm surprised someone hasn't jumped on this for the intake, oil pan, and pulley alone.
