Here's a bump for you. This is a great DEAL for anyone wanting the look and fit of ORIGINAL Torque Thrust D wheels. Good luck with the sale.

I understand the old is new concept and vintage is king but .......... why am I seeing torque thrusts for $110.00 each with prepaid shipping advertising ? Did they find an area cheaper than Mexico to manufacture them ? Have there been any negative reviews ? I just want a set mounted to move from car to car ( GTO, Belair, Corvette ). Love the style. Not into specifics that make them year specific. By far the most popular wheel on the planet.

Melting Slicks
Not true......got them on my car now, bought from Jegs.....made in China. Who cares....no caliper interference........

Great to know.... Sorry to interfere with a sale ad but the question was on my back burner. It sounds as though a competitive value American Torque Thrust set would be fine for those of us needing an extra set of wheels.

These are Appliance brand wheels that are copies of the original Torq Thrust "D" wheels from American Racing. They have the extra stiffening rib in the back of the spokes. They're 15x6" with a 5x4.75" bolt circle and have 3" back spacing. I don't have any lug nuts or center caps for them. They use shank lug nuts with a washer. The caps will be the older style American Racing with 2 1/8" spacing on the screws. There are no broken screws in these wheels.
$1,200 shipped to the forty-eight states. If you're outside the continental U.S., contact me for a shipping quote.
For more info, contact me directly at 270-7 nine 2-6066 or email: richard.lyon@live.com[/QUOTE
will these clear the calipers ? thanks troy
