Default [C2] Need a Pair of Horns for 1 June 1965

Turns out my 1 June 1965 build car has aftermarket horns.

Anybody got a cheap pair laying around? I will take old cores needing a rebuild, too.

From what I understand of the judging guide I need 9000487 (driver's side) and 9000488 (passenger side). With codes between about December 1964 and 18 May 1965.

I don't know if it matters but my body build date is Wednesday, 19 May 1965. I'm guessing that the horns were installed at Ionia when AOSmith built the body?

Default Original horns

I used Joe Perri <corvetteillinois@gmail.com> to restore my horns. One was correct and one required a new core for my June 65 Vette. Joe was able to provide a core for the incorrect one. He does nice work and is pleasant to deal with.

Roger that.

My next step, I suppose, if no one has any laying around.
