Default 1956 Original Survivor Windshield Washer Bag, Valve, Cap and Tube

(SOLD)

1956 original survivor windshield washer bag with the cap, valve and tube still in place. The bag has been tested for leaks and it holds water just fine. According to one posting I read, these bags may also have been used on late production 1955’s as well.

SOLD plus shipping. PayPal is fine (Friends & Family please)

Maybe a silly question, but have you attempted to remove/clean the backside of the bag (yellow part)?

Not a silly question at all. I have not tried to clean it as some people want these parts to be true survivors. My guess is it will clean up and look much better.

Call me crazy, but I'll take pretty, and clean over dirty and dingy every time. I have an NOS bag for my '55, but I may be buying another '55. Thanks for the info.

I don’t disagree with you but since I don’t have the expertise to properly clean an item this old without potentially damaging it, I figured it better to leave it to someone who does have that expertise. My asking price reflects the fact that it isn’t perfect and does need to be restored. As they say, they are only original once.

For those of us that have restored 56's, we know how hard it is to find this particular washer bag. If anybody has a 56 and needs this washer bag, this is a smoking hot deal. I bought one a couple of years ago for my 56 and it cost way more than this one. Good luck with your sale!!
