I have a beautiful pair available, exactly as you have described. I bought several original pair when doing rebuild of 65 L79 several years back. I had them restored former GM engineer and recognized Corvette engine expert Ken Kayser. The process is described on Ken's Kayser Specialties website (kayserspecialty.com). It includes ultrasonic cleaning and parsonizing for the correct patina. Both sets were beautiful. I installed and ran the 2 with minor nicks on my 65 and held the perfect (as far as I can see) in reserve. Sold the 65 in June and have some remnants of 25 years of ownership I need to sell
Asking $300 plus shipping for pair. Will take PayPal payment. I can firm up ship fee, invoice for payment, and ship same day.
Let me know via PM and we can switch over to email correspondence.

Proteam has a set on Ebay for $350 that are not this nice.
Thanks to the seller for offering these to the forum at a decent price.

I will just add this this is a very good price on a quality restored set of valve covers. I paid $250 for a nice restorable set, then added $172 to get them restored / shipped.

JV04 - Thanks for your comment. Yes, I looked on EBay to see what others were listed for. As I have had items to sell, I offer them on the forum first at prices a little below those on EBay. I want to get them into the hands of C2 owners needing good parts for their personal projects. I'll list them as 4 sale if I don't get a response in next few days. GPa Tom
But I am getting to old and decrepit for that sort of stuff.
Someone will get a beautiful set of covers at a good price.
