Yea Yea I know... none came on factory cars... although they are seen on 63 Z06 race cars beginning in March of 1963.
Yes they did come on new corvette very few! I have a set of original 5 wheels promo K-H with the original two wing spinners that were on 64 car 600 first week Sept 63 sold brand new with these wheels from the factory so don't lesson to people especially NCRS the reason they came out late because they were getting sued by Dayton wheels for copying the spinners that's why they went to three spinners so some got lucky late 63 and early 64's 100% that the car came that way! Very rare !!!
Clarks Corvair parts reproduce two bar spinners years ago and there’s was a lot of them on the market. In the late 70s Corvette guys thought they came on 63 Corvette’s until they found that the 63 Corvette’s did not come with a knock off it was only used in the promotional pictures. A lot of racecars had the 2 bar spinners They got them for the Corvair wheel and it fit the knock off for the vet. They came on the 62 the 64 Covairs they were rare on them also. But you could buy them over the counter at Chevrolet for a short time. Then they were reproduced for the Corvair world.
Wrong! My split window was built in Aug 6 63 and had the 2bar spinner on this 63 new at dealership from gm ship that way. GM was getting sued by Dayton for knock off copy writes that is why very few rare! The repos are flat on the back easy to decipher. This is why it took a while to get them for the new design . They had to settle yes that is correct they were on promos took a big on the suit that is why that remade their own design! Yes they were on the the corvair rare for the same reason!
