55 only top frame parts
Anyone have parts for a 55 only top frame? The guy restoring my '55 said he had the frame straightened, but it seems that now is not true. I'm in need of the side spring loaded parts. Anyone?? Thanks, David

55 Top Frame
You might need to contact and use a different shop. The parts on a '55 top are barely strong enough to hold the top. With a little heat just about anything can be fixed on them...

Thank you very much. I've bought some things from Steve, but didn't consider that he might have the top frame parts I need. Thanks again, David

David I spoke to Steve today about your top frame. He said that he can fix it for you or he has the parts to fix it that he can sell to you. he said ti give him a call.
Good luck getting it fixed.

Thanks Jay, I'll call the resto shop and see what (if anything) they have accomplished, and then give Steve a call. I appreciate your input very much!

The Right side forward folding arm is bent upwards, and bent another supporting arm. As you know, the top frame is already a contorted mess from the factory.
