Default F/S 1963 AM Wonderbar Radio

A friend asked me to help him sell a wonderbar radio from a 1963 corvette. It is in good original condition and has not been restored as far as I know. All ***** and buttons work and the station buttons seem to reset as normal. I have not tried to turn it on, so I don't know if it works (being sold in as-is).
We are asking $300 plus shipping from Southern California.

I don’t believe this is a 63. Not sure what year it comes from.

Well, it has to be a '63 unit IMO. It is my understanding that later '63's all got AM-FM units. And from '64 and up, all were AM-FM. Another thing: the two Civil Defense emblems on the dial were discontinued on all radios, automotive and home, after 1964. The price, IMO is very, very fair.

It humbles me to say but It looks like you might be right and I owe Johncr an apology . I was under the impression that the ‘63 radio had a slide bar that showed either AM of FM at the top and bottom of the slide bar and no “Corvette” on the face.

No apology needed rick1542. It's not from my car and I am not familiar enough with these to know for sure. I'm grateful to everyone for chiming in and giving me info that I didn't have. Now I just need to find someone with an early '63 corvette that wants a stock AM radio that he/she will probably have to have refurbished.
Should be a breeze.
