French Lock Replacement WedgeLock Washer Kit for C2 & C3 Corvette
Replace the french lock on your 1963 - 1982 Corvette with better technology WedgeLock Washers for half-shaft attachment. Unlike the old french lock that is easily destroyed and difficult to use, these new WedgeLock washers can be used just like a standard lock washer and they are reusable.
They are highly resistant to vibration and secure the half shaft flange bolts tightly by increasing force on the bolt head, and ultimately the threads, if they begin to loosen. This happens because of the wedges between the two halves of the washer.
