Default Is it possible to put in a 12 disc changer in a C3?

I am new and I am getting a car soon, I plan to get a corvette C3 but I am going to customize it and put in a new radio system, lots of subwoofers and speakers in the back, and a 12 disc changer.

I need to know if I can put in a 12 disc changer in a C3 and if so how?

Thanx, Shadow

Also consider an indash unit that will play CD-ROM disks burned with MP3 music files. You can get around 150 MP3 songs on just one disk - and you can place the songs into individual catagories if desired.

I have a 10 disk changer in the compartment behind the passenger seat. I still have room to store some small tools, rags, etc in the compartment with the changer. If you have time to make up MP3 CD's I think the in-dash CD/MP3 player is a more versatile route to go. (They didn't exist when I put my CD changer in 8 years ago...)

Even better....I have a 20GB MP3 player that I can feed into my car stereo using the cassette adapter or any FM transmitter (they have cheap ones, but the Monster iCar...(something like that, I forgot the name) is best, but around $75 in addition to your MP3 player.

You can store hundreds of CDs on the MP3 player, plug it into your car, plug it into your home stereo, bring it to parties, plug in headphones. You really can't go wrong.

Speaking of which, I've got a Rio Riot 20 GB player I'll sell you for $100 and throw in the cassette adapter if you're interested. I hope I don't leave a bunch of cool music on it when I send it

If you're not interested, I also have a 10 CD changer I could sell you that I'm taking out of my own C3. It transmits to FM station 87.7 so you don't have to wire it to your stereo, just power, and it has a little wired remote.

Let me know.

which one ore you using ?

here is the 20g Neo I have in my C5:

installed the remote display in the center air duct (already had the ash-tray area used for something else):

it's connected into the factory head unit - through it's AUX input.

Yes, this is how you do it, along with a couple of amps, crossover and a subwoofer and you'll still be able to fit your t-tops.

I'm using a Rio Riot portable with a cassette adapter. I couldn't really afford a Neo, but then again I couldn't afford a C5 either

BTW, the NEO is no longer being manufactured. I hope mine holds-out for awhile... I'd hate for it to break and not be able to replace it.

Also, most aftermarket head units have some sort of aux in so you don't need an FM transmitter. $30 and my ipod wires directly in to my Poineer HU and sounds perfect.
