'70 C-3 Seats; Can you switch Drivers with Passengers?
Hey Guy's & Gals: My Drivers side seat is showing signs of wear & tear and I was wondering if I can change it out with the passengers? It stills looks "NEW" so can I unbolt it and switch? It looks like I can but I wanted to check with the "FORUM EXPERTS" 1st!!!!!!

Same here. So far so good. If I start seeing a little wear, I will swap sides also. Go for it. Its only four bolts per side and should go pretty quickly. The only thing about these seats is they are so darn heavy.

UHHHH, here in the USA, the one on the right as you face them is the drivers seat, over the big pond it is the orher way around.
There is a tip in one of the restoration books to swap them every now and then to get longer wear, I can't remember which book, but they said we used the passenger side like only 30-40% of the time.

Well the only thing is that just under the head rest are seat belt guides for the belt reels. They would have to be switched if you still use seat reels, but you would have holes in the top of the seat covers!
