What are 3999241 454 heads worth? harmonic balancer? block?
I am parting out my 454 project. What are an un-refurbished set of 72 454 heads worth?
What about block? balancer?
The block needs to be bathed, etc. The balancer is in 33 year-old used condition?
I am going to go to ebay I think, but wanted to know if it is worth it?

Flav, Its probably not gonna be worth a whole lot. Unless you don't have the space to store it, might be better to hang on to it for awhile.
The whole thing in running condition is probably worth tops $750, less if its been torn down.

Having been through the BB search & find. Right now, I'd only pay about $300 for a bare 454 block that needs fluxed & dipped. It'd have to be within driving distance.
I may be wrong, but can't you get a Gen VI block from GM for about $700??
