Default Drove the 'vette to work today...

Everybody came out of the office to see what was making so much noise.

got a tranny leak, and I need to adjust the timing.

It's always something w/these cars, but what other would empty the office to see??? Can't beat the cool factor of a C3, at least not for anywhere near the money.

Fix, Drive, Enjoy.....Fix, Drive, Enjoy.....Fix, Drive, Enjoy. Repeat adnausem.

Should be our credo actually.

Default Gotta luv a loud Shark

when I moved here to Ohio I trailered Fast81. I was staying with a friend while the builder got the house finished and backed Fast81 off the trailer to re-tune it from CSprings air (8000' above SL) to Dayton, Ohio air. People came out of 3 surrounding houses after hearing me start her up

Yeah, they do attract a lot of attention even when you don't want it. I was working on my brakes and suspension and had the front end jacked up in my garage. I had just moved into my new house this winter and haven't had my car out much. My neighbors from across the street (who I've only met once while shoveling snow) came home while I was out there working and rushed straight across the street to "oh" and "ah". It was kinda funny because I haven't washed my car since last year, the front wheels are off, it's jacked way up, and yet they still were able to enjoy the car for what it is. Imagine how they would have reacted if it was washed, waxed, and actually had wheels on it.

Yeah...same here. Been restoring the 72 for 2yrs now with plenty of passer by comments. Can't wait for the neighborhood reaction when I finally "drive" it around the block....rather than pusing it in and out of the garage!

My girlfriend gets ill because when she rides with me sometimes other girls will stare, while we are at a stop light. I just tell her they are wondering how a hot babe like her got stuck with a guy like me.... but we all no what's going on here
