Default Electric cutouts--Naturally aspirated car?

So Ive been dreaming up ideas to use cutouts so i can switch from normal to superloud at will

would i run into problems since i'm running a carb? any options?

if it cant be done ill probably just break down and get some stahl headers/sidepipes eventually which wouldnt be such a bad fate, but i'd still like to go to quiet mode on long highway trips or late at night in the neighborhood

If you have a exhaust that is not close to free flowing and you open the cutouts this could lean the motor out so that it could become harmfull to the motor, besides the fact it might not run that good.

I am not exactly sure of how lean it will get but it is one of the reasons I bought a LM-1 wideband 02 sensor and went to a 3 inch exhaust. I am getting electric cutouts and I do not want to ruin my motor so I am going to monitor everything closely. Seems like you already have an idea there might be a problem here with regards to carbed motors or you wouldn't be asking the question sojust be careful

I wouldn't worry about it. I switch from sidepipes to open and it doesn't hurt anything.
