VCT = Vinyl Compostion Tile (I just saw the term used earlier in this thread). Anyway, I think the tiles are about 1/8" or 3/16" thick. I was planning on running them through my table saw with the blade angled at 45* or 30*, just enough to make a smooth transition to the floor without weakening the edges.

No, they're put down with a mastic. BTW the house in is Forked River, NJ, (GPS exit 77) once I get it done you're welcome to come take a look.
