Seeing all those photos helps me decide what I want my vette to look like when it is all done. I havent been to a car show in a long time. This is the only way I can see some great looking vettes.

Thanks for posting.

I posted all the pictures from the Power Tour Sat., glad everyone likes to see them. I know everyone can't always find the time to go to shows (myself included) so the time it takes to post is time well spent IMHO. I also enjoy seeing photos from shows that others post - I get to see cars from all over that I would otherwise never get too see.

Weather permitting, I'm planning on going to Great Lakes Dragstrip this Sunday for a Corvette / Chevy event, so maybe I'll have a few more to post soon. Might even try video...we'll see.

I expect a FULL report on the drag-racing Corvettes.....

Weather-permitting, I'll be attending a cruise/show hosted by the Flood City (Johnstown, Pa.) Corvette Club at a Chevrolet dealership this Friday evening with the 'usual-suspects' that hit the Linden Hall Show yesterday with Bernadette and I:
I'll take the best pictures I possibly can.....

That's my main reason for going - haven't been to the track in a few years due to busy schedule, but the only way I'll miss this is if it's rained out. Of course the long range forcast said rain for the next 6-7 days, but I have zero faith in the local weatherman. They are usually only accurate 12-24 hrs in advance so I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Yes...Thanks. Great pic. However you and I share the same problem here, we lack an overdrive trany. From your pic I bet you are running 3.55 gears.

You know, I dont know what gears I am running!?! What kind of markings can I look for that will tell me? That is one of my goals for tomorrow is to know what I am running. Also, that is the last thing I want to do to my car is add an OD transmission. Just trying to do the research before I decide on the 200 or the 700.

can't really tell from the markings, gears may have been changed over the years. Best way is rotate the wheel ten times and count the number of rev's on the drive shaft....then do the math. I just plugged your speed and RPM into a online gear calculator and it comes up at 3.73. Either 3.55 or 3.73 you are reving way too high...like mine. I am also trying to decide between 200, 700 or T5. Although I really would like the T5, a full Keisler conversion from auto is $4500 plus. I am leaning towards a 200 based on the easier install and good feedback from others.
