The post is a joke!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought my 79 new, many years ago everybody said "oh ya L-82 with a hopped up motor." I started mods after the 500 mile break in period, Then the C-4 models came out snobs.............. as the years go by Oh ZR-1 ..... I owned hot C-4's then the C-5 came out. Now the c-4's are dirt also. Now nobody wants to even look at a C-5 or Z06 unless it's modded. Just wait till the 427ci C-6. We will all be sucking hind tit!

I have parked at ALMS racing corvette corals for many years and always have a good time.

The whole post thing is to get everyone's goat! It's all BS. Did I get any blood pressure up? Just think about what you have next time.

I'm not on a any Vette show planning party! But I could be.

Note to self, George doesn't share what he's smoking with others.

Boy this is timely! I attended a Vette show last Sunday and could not understand why there were so many C5's/C6's taking up space. The only ones I'm interested in are C1-C3's. The later models all look the same to me. Just my opinion.

Oh....this is a joke. Got me!!!

As the proud owner of a 71 Lt1. I know exactly what he is talking about when it comes to descrimination from the new Vette set. I've seen it for over 20 years. It's also the truth about what do people really look at during an all Vette car show?

I know the poster and he has had some beautiful ground up restoration cars that he did himself. The two four barrel 61 was a many time over show winner. He's also the kind of person that bought a 96 Grand sport three months before they even released them to any dealer because he read about how good they were going to be in Road & Track mag.

I talked to George about his post and he was really taking some bad hate mail from the Pacific forum. It was a joke about being on the committee - he just made that part up. The other part had allot of truth behind it

George, I enjoyed reading the post in the Pacific section. I see that many that own C5 & C6s are your new best friends. Rod

Rod - Screw those AH's. It was just a good laugh. I really don't like new Vettes at shows. Maybe segregated parking is what events need. So you wouldn't even have to walk by them or have them mess up a picture of a nice car because it was in the back ground. Then they can all sit together and talk about retirement plans and Enzite or other male enhancement herbs. Happy Bob bought a new vette from all his TV comercial money.

As to what I’m, smoking got shot down by the Supreme Court! I prefer to call it preventative medicine. I’m smoking it now to prevent Glaucoma later.

George, This is fun. The battle of the generations. The C5 & C6 owners that the only time they work on their cars is to apply their Zaino and the C3 guys that actual work on their own cars. I wonder if the have ever pulled their engines, swapped transmission, rebuilt their rearends on their C5s or C6s? Can you please pass the medicine? Rod
