Default Wouldn't be Nice****Lars Tuning for Beer tours****

Here's the scenario, you just had an Original carb rebuilt by Lars and sent to you in the mail and installed it on the car. The next few days you had Sanderson Headers and new side pipes manufactured and professionally installed, along with that you just installed the new DeWitts A69M radiator with dual fans and the car is living large.

So wouldn’t it be nice to have Lars personally come out for a day and tune the whole thing up?

I will get Lars assessment of the situation before and after. May even try for some video... but he's already built my carb so there goes that tech session....will see!

Thanks

why not learn how to tune your carb yourself? I hate being dependant on someone else... everything here is DIY.

It's more than just tuning a carb...he tunes according to the big picture taking everything in consideration and rebuilds where needed and does it quick. At this time, that is what I am after. Also the great company, experience, and wealth of knowledge he brings.

You are correct on being self sufficient; I have had 4 different corvettes in the past 7 months 76, 77, 74, 71. I only have the 71 and 76 left and did most everything to each of those cars except for carbs. I know all about doing it yourself but Carbs, Timing, Tuning is not my strong point.

I learned distributor tuning from Lars, both in person and through the forum. Now I can do it pretty darn good.

Next up is carb tuning! This one may take a few years...

Hi guys!
Lars here in San Francisco - great to be out here again!
Keep in mind that this is more than just tuning a car: This is just as much about getting together, having some fun, drinking some good beer, playing with the car "projects" and simply enjoying life with good friends. Just doesn't get any better than that! In between all that, we might get lucky and make the car run a little better, too..!

Jim and I had an incredible steak and shrimp dinner last night, and just wrapped up an awesome breakfast. Now, we're going to waddle down to the garage and tear something apart while enjoying a good breakfast beer. Is this fun, or what??

Stay "tuned"....

Here are the pics.. they are too big and too many to post so here's a link to to them on my site.

I took the liberty to highlight one of the pics... you can barley see it but the clock says 8:46 "A.M."
