Default Show me your 17" wheels

I'm considering moving up to 17" wheels, and I figured it'd be better to see the wheels actually mounted on a Corvette instead of just as a picture in a catalog.

Please list the wheel manufacturer in case I see something I can't live without.

Thanks!

Boyd Coddington smoothie II's 17X8 with 4" inset. 255/50/r17 tires look on Discount tire web site for a selection of boyd's wheels. I get compliments all the time for them.

I posted last month about installing 255/50/17's and got an almost unanimous due to firment/rubbing issues.

Now, with this post, I see almost everyone running 'em.

So...who's lying? I'm getting close to purchase.

i have 255.50.17 on my 74r.....no rubbing fitment issues at all...also no picture at the moment.......for tire choice you may well consider 18" wheels as there seems to be little new in 17" in wider tires...most seem to be now in 18"........john

'74 here also. I already have the wheels, but the existing tires are too small (245/40-17).
