Default Will an 18inch rear wheel clear the rear spring ?

Looking at wheel options would an 18inch rim tuck the spring inside the rim and save going the offset trailing arms and shortened rear spring ?

Not sure if I,ll like the thin tire look out back ....How would a 17x8 front with 250/45/17 look with rear 18x? widest rim/tire combo out back on stock arms or even offset arms look ...Thanks for any suggestions, comments pictures

Yes the spring falls inside the rim of a 17 or 18 inch rim. Offset trailing arms have nothing to do with the spring. The offset arms allow more clearance at the front of tire. The spring is at the back.
Some shots of my 18 inch rear tires
These are shots of my new back tires and rims. They are 10 inch wide with 6 ½ backspacing and 18 inch with 285 x 40 pirelli tires

This is a shot of how it fits inside the fender well. With proper backspacing and a little work it is centered in the well and easily fits.

This shows a 12 inch rotor inside the 18 inch rim. Looks a little small but at least it has lots of room for cool air.

Thr spring will only fit if you are using short bolts. If they are too long, like the 10" ones they will hit!

Unless you are using a shortened rear spring. 18x10s on mine with a shortened rear spring.

I just helped do one with the normal width VBP spring and it fit inside the 17 inch rims with 5 inch backspacing.
