Default Headlights shining in my eyes!!!!!

Is it just me, or do you other C3 guys have issues with people's headlights that are behind you blinding you in the rear view mirror??? It drives me nuts!!! My car is lowered, so I guess that doesn't help matters any, because vettes are low cars to begin with!

I especially love the morons who have replaced a headlight and not aimed it properly............they always seem to be behind me!

Back in the early eighties, a fellow Corvette owner and close friend addressed this problem by mounting one small halogen fog light under each rear bumper facing rearward. When someone ignorantly would follow with their high beams on, he would flip the switch for the rear facing fog lamps and give them a little sunburn. Not legal but effective as all hell.

I just put 5% black tint on my back window of my 77 to help resolve this problem.

I try to reaim the mirror so they see their own shine.

Slow down
Speed up.
I don't like people that close behind me in any car I drive.
