Trick Flow Opinions

Melting Slicks
I've had a pair of Trick Flow heads on my engine for 4 years.
They only cost $850 from Summit Racing at time of purchase.
They have performed well. No problems.
My Vette is certainly not a garage queen. I use it along with my motorcycles for daily drivers.

I have had a set on mine for around 4 years or so and no problems. I am happy with them at this point.

Only complaint I have seen is the valve seals leak on some heads, I have a set of G2 like TT on my formula and a set of CNC'd reg 23 degee heads on my vette. I have not heard why they stopped making the G2 heads for Chevy but they still make the Twisted Wedge for F*rds.

probably because of the valve train geometry not giving a big enough advantage to justify the headaches, however the furds had the same wear problem w/ the iron guides on the G1s as the chevys. However I'm not sure if they changed the valve angles for the fords also, the G1 chevys had a stock exh. valve angle and the G2s have a non stock intake and exhaust valve angle but the intake not as tilted as on the G1s..don't remember the exaxt specs but I think it was 18 deg. int. for the G1s and something like 8 exh and 13 int. for the G2s...could be wrong though. Trick Flow has mostly been a Furd outfit since the beginning I think.

Thanks alot all for the quick responses. I am in the process of building up a motor for my Corvette and Summit has some good deals on Cylinder Head combos. I've heard some pro's and cons from many sources but it seems most have been satisfied. The price certainly seems right, but I figure a little research now will save me some headaches later. again, thanks all!
