What brand of gasoline do you use ?
And why? Do you think it matter what brand you use?
I use Chevron, I here the Techron is a good cleaner and less combustion chamber deposits.

I've been using Amoco/BP here in Iowa, cause its the only place in town where I can get 92 with no ethanol in it. I've noticed with 91 (EtOH or not) I'll get some knockin on WOT, especially on hotter days.

I have a frend that is a truck tank inspector for a big transport co. and he tell's me to buy only texaco, amoco, and shell's gas. thay make all the gas and when thay store gas in those big tanks all the junk go's to the bottom. thay pull the top off to sell at there stores and the next go's to there good customers for there stores and the mom and pop place's get next and the rest get's made in to diesel. or atleast that's the way i herd it.

I've heard that the techron cleans the injector better then other additive. All though we do not have injectors, I would think that it would also be good for the resons stated in my first post.

There is a distinct performance hit when I use cheapo gas such as Arco or Thrifty, in ANY of my cars.

Found this in a simple search..California of course

It is not certain that California Phase 2 RFG will cause any incremental elastomer failures. However, in light of the fact that Chevron's testing indicated a potential problem, we believe that our customers deserve to be informed, enabling them to make their own decisions based on all the information available.
Chevron recommends that owners of older or high-mileage vehicles consult an auto repair technician about possible repair or replacement of fuel system parts. Owners should monitor their fuel systems for leaks, repairing any leaks immediately. Vehicles never should be operated with a fuel leak.

Three years ago,I replaced my fuel pump, and fuel hoses....glad I did...must check/change tank hoses now...

I shot video last year at a Major refinery here in Texas and every imaginable brand was having their tanker trucks filled out of the same tanks. Hmmm
By the way I use all brands of regular unleaded none seem to make a difference one way or the other. Just my .02 cents worth.
