Default Valve Springs

I'm running a rather stock L-48 on the local drag track. Its a very consistant street driven car, with a few added goodies. Today driving home I'm just wondering about valve spings and would they add any performance to my package. ET= 13.94 @ 96.75 mph

I've added a Edelbrock Performer cam and Intake, headers, and an MSD-6AL with a 3 step. Running a fine working Qudrajet but I'm just looking for a bit more to hold me over till my Big Block is finished.

Would these 26 year old springs be tired now? Would new springs add anything? What type of spring would I use?

Thanks a bunch!

Indy
