Default MasterCylinder, which res is front/rear?

On my '78...assume the resevoir in the rear with the larger line is for the front?

Thanks

That would make too much sense....

But I think (why I am asking and don't know) that the large brakeline goes to the front...which is in the rear resevoir.

i always thought that the one closest to the booster was for the frt,,,bec the piston pushes the fluid from that one first to the frt brakes,so they get the pressure,,then the next one is for the rear and smaller for less pressure

Just rebuilt a rear caliper for a friend, had to refill the rear resevoir before bleeding. Then I needed to rebuild a front caliper on my white 79, added fluid to the front.
