Hi Paul, For once Scott sounded fairly confident, even with one of his guys leaving and Geoff his top man going on holiday for a week, he still reckons it should be ready for 17/18th Sept. I'm like a kid waiting on Christmas!!

Awsome!!! Now the fun of assembly begins. Are you assembling it?? Ya know, from this point on was the most fun I had during the restoration of my 72. Fitting bumpers, valances, hood, etc..was a BLAST!! Yours is exactly the same as mine when I brought Edzred home.

Have fun...and carefull with that paint!!!

Eddie,
I'm afraid not a company called Corvette Kingdom are doing this for me in UK. I would have loved to do it myself but after 9 years I realised I was only treding water with it, since I work away from home all the time (currently in Russia). Anyway Scot and his team at Corvette Kingdom are making a superb job of it. Just dont ask me how much its costing, I havent dared count it all up!!!!

Very nice indeed. If you don’t mind my asking, about how much did you pay for that paint job?

I agree, mine is also a clone, I just repainted mine a couple weeks ago, the guy I bought mine off of just had it repainted, for $4800. no body work just paint, it looked ok, but not great so I wet sanded it and repainted, it is a show paint job now and it cost me under $ 500., but I have alot of hours in prep time. you have good taste, and every one knows 70 was the best year of the C-3 to own and drive, in marlboro maroon of course.
